Well, it’s still raining pretty much every day here in Northern California. I am sure anxious for some sunshine and for our Car Show season to begin.<\/p>\n

I sure appreciated all the emails I received this past week with information on upcoming events. It is a huge help! I was hoping to make it to the Salem Roadster Show this past weekend, but maybe next year? My new friend Jim Wylder<\/strong> shared a few photos that he took. It looks like they had a lot of fun!<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are a few of the events taking place this coming weekend:<\/strong><\/p>\n

March 10 – Stayton:<\/strong> The Covered Bridge Cafe Cars and Coffee<\/a><\/strong> is every Friday morning at 8am at Covered Bridge Cafe, 510 N. 3rd Avenue.<\/p>\n

March 11 – Astoria:<\/strong> The Lower Columbia Classics Annual Swap Meet<\/strong><\/a> is Saturday from 8am to 2pm at Clatsop County Fair & Expo, 92937 Walluski Loop.<\/p>\n

March 11 – Eagle Point:<\/strong> The Eagle Point Cars & Coffee<\/a><\/strong> is Saturday from 8am to 11:30am at the Eagle Point Grange, 5 South Shasta Avenue.<\/p>\n

March 11 – Medford:<\/strong> The Medford Cars and Coffee<\/a><\/strong> is every Saturday morning from 9am to 10:30am at Southern Oregon Orthopedics, 2780 E. Barnett Road.<\/p>\n

March 11 – Sherwood:<\/strong> The Portland Cars and Coffee<\/a><\/strong> is every Saturday at 8am at the Langers Fun Center, 21650 SW Langer Farm Parkway.<\/p>\n

Here are some cool photos of a 1955 Powell truck that belongs to Miles Chappell<\/strong> of Eagle Point. I saw one for the first time last July in Alturas, CA. Miles is an expert on these very rare and cool trucks.<\/p>\n
